About Heavy Muzeek
Heavy Muzeek is a tool for record collectors. The goal is to build a structured system for cataloguing collections, tracking rarity and value, and eventually adding a social layer for music lovers through album and gig reviews, as well as music‑related news.
Immediate Engineering Needs
- Designing and implementing the core UI
- Building the main collection page (albums, pressings, editions, variants)
- Implementing a basic rarity scoring system
- Adding a scanner function for quick record input
- Setting up secure login and account handling
- Establishing a clean, maintainable data model for collection items
- Gathering external data (via scraping tools or APIs) and applying it to the rarity scoring algorithm
